Willow Wreath Making

A fun filled morning getting into the Christmas spirit and learning a new skill in conjunction with Yoga Movement Studio Gainsborough.    We will kick off the morning with a mini yoga session led by Sash to warm everyone up, followed by refreshments,  while Linda demonstrates how to make willow hearts and wreaths. Then, using locally sourced willow grown in Beckingham, you will make your own willow wreath or heart to decorate for the Christmas season.  No experience necessary and full guidance will be given.

You will learn how to weave the fresh willow into a circle or heart shape that will last for years to come and then decorate it with a plentiful supply of festive greenery of your choice, finished with a ribbon if required.  After Christmas these decorations often get hung in the garden on fences or gates and last for many years to come.  They can also be re-decorated with flowers to reflect other seasons.

Workshops will take place at The Willow Works, Beckingham.  Sensible outdoor clothing will be required and if you, have sensitive hands please bring gloves.

All tools, materials, aprons and light refreshments included.

£30 or £25 if you attend classes at Yoga Movement Studio, Gainsborough. Limited places available to ensure personal attention – payment in full required to secure place.
